Physiotherapy Physiotherapy is a natural method of treating and preventing injury and disease. A Physiotherapist helps the patient maximize functional movement and ability by using a variety of hands-on treatments, an exercise recommendation, and education. It can also help virtually any condition that affects the muscles or nerves. One of the primary applications is in rehabilitation from stroke or injury.
